This page will provide you with links to some of the websites and apps we use during class. Children are able to access some of these websites from home provided that they bring their password passport home.
WHAT IS A PASSWORD PASSPORT?
Passwords passports contain log in information, website links, usernames and passwords. This information allows children to log on at home or from any computer. Children are responsible to care for their own passports. Passports are attached to a neck nanyard, so children can transport and use with ease. When not in use children are recommended to store them in their homework folder.
Sumdog
Sumdog is a resource used in math rotations. children have a hero character and are able to complete and compete in math games depending on ability level. children can compete against children from their own class, or from another school from anywhere across the world.
Mathletics
REading Eggs
ABC Reading Eggs makes learning to read easy and fun by combining books with online reading games and activities. The program is used in literacy block rotations.
Spelling city
Spelling City allows children to enter their weekly spelling list, practice spelling and take their spelling tests online. children can also play spelling and vocabulary games.
Class dojo
Class DoJo is a website that rewards positive behaviour. Each child has their name and alien avatar displayed on the smart board. the teacher is ab to reward students for a positive behaviour, and deduct points for children who are off task.
